Sufix 131 G-Core x13 : 10lb
12 carrier HMPE braided line plus a single GORE® Performance Fiber in the center for optimal roundness and reduced internal abrasion. Built with 13 fibers (12 HMPE fibers + 1 GORE® Performance Fiber in core) to guarantee consistently strong construction with no weak points for reliable braided line during casting, strikes and fighting action. Construction increases the number of fibers at the knot resulting in better knot tying and stronger holding power. A single strand of GORE® Performance Fiber surrounded by 12 precision braided HMPE fibers results in a “super-round” line that is smoother and quieter than other lines.

Overall this line was a little disappointing when looking at the test results, especially compared to the Sufix 832 which tested significantly better in every test. Sufix 832 is also cheaper so there appears to be little reason to pick the 131 over 832.
