Yo-Zuri Superbraid 30lb Braid

Yo-Zuri is proud to announce the introduction of our new Dark Green SuperBraid. Dark Green is great for water with high run off river systems to oceans all over the world, making it ideal for murky water situations. Due to it’s natural dark green color, it is a familiar color for fish to see. SuperBraid ranges from 10-40 lb test for 4 strand and 50-80 lb test for 8 strand. Our specially coated braided line gives it a maximium abrasion resistance, extremely low stretch, and makes it super durable giving you the best possible fishing experience. It’s available in 150 and 300 yards.

- Measured Breaking Strain: 60.59 lbs (201.97% of rated 30lbs)
- Abrasion Breaking Strain: 19.48 lbs (32.15% of max break)
- FG Knot Breaking Strain: 40.64 lbs (67.07% of max break)

Overall an average result. The outright Tensile Strength was excellent, however the actual breaking strain was over 200% of what is claimed. Both the Abrasion and FG Knot strength were quite low. A 37.8% variation in diameter is very high even for an x4 braid, the 2nd and 3rd highest we have tested (2 samples of Yo-Zuri) along its length.
